NCEdcloud (North Carolina Education Cloud) is an educational platform that allows students and teachers to access a set of resources, making accessing and completing tasks easier. It provides self-service to all users and the administration.

Login to NCEdcloud

1. Go to my.ncedcloud.org to access your PowerSchool system’s resources
2. Choose “NCEdCloud” Option

3. Type your username and press the Button on “GO”
4. Enter your password and then get access

4. After entering the correct Username and Password, your identity will be verified and entered into the portal.

Login Via QR Code Scan

The QR Code login method is only for students

1. Visit the official website.
2. Below the username, a button that says “Scan Student QR Code.” Click on it.

3. The browser can ask to allow a pop-up for camera permission, then click on the “allow” Button.
4. Scan your badge of QR codes that the teacher or school provides, and be sure it is visible in front of the camera.
5. Once scanned, you will be redirected to your system portal.

Claim My Account Feature.

To claim the account, there is a distinct method for students and staff as follows:

For Students

1. Visit the official website my.ncedcloud.org
2. Click on the “Claim my account.”
3. Select the option “LEA student claim policy.” Click on the next.
4. After that, enter your Student ID, Grades, and Date of birth; while entering your date of birth, please ensure you follow this format: YYYYMMDD. Then, enter the LEA/charter code and click on next.
5. You will enter into your student portal.

For Staff

1. Visit the official site.
2. Then click on “Claim my account.”
3. Select the option “LEA Employee Claim Policy” and click on Next.
4. Next, enter the Staff UID, Date of Birth, & LEA/Charter Code and press Next.
5. You will have access to the Staff Portal system.

1. SSO Access (Single Sign-On) prevents students from logging in separately for multiple logins. With a centralized system, students can use platforms like PowerSchool, Canvas, and Google Classroom to log in and save time.

6. Schedule Classes: The teacher can easily create classes and enrol the students, allowing them to manage their learning material and course records and help them learn.
7. Teachers and professors have full access to their students. They can visit their projects, guide them, make it easier to see students’ profiles and restore their students’ access.
8. Application- It allows users to install the application on their iPhones and Android devices.
